Alliance Duel - MAXIMIZING Points!!

Alliance Duel is an event where we face another alliance from a different server. Each day there is a theme and you can earn points by completing tasks. Points vary depending on your level of research for the Alliance Research. The further you are in your research; the more points you can get.  The Alliance Duel rewards you more if you are clever, patient and DISCIPLINED!!

Here are ways to maximize your points gathering:

Monday
Modification Vehicle Boost

1. Complete radar tasks - You should be able to stack events on your radar according to your level. When you click on your radar, in the top left corner it will tell you how many tasks you can stack. On Sunday you should save as many radars as you can. Only the helicopters will expire if not used.

2. Mining Zent – If you calculate how long it takes your marches to gather, you can send them out to gather Zent on Sunday (before reset) for instant AD points. You will need to search the map a bit for higher level Zent mines.

3. Upgrade your vehicle using wrenches and blue prints – If you want to maximize your rewards, wait until 8:00 and 20:00 apocalypse time to also get Full Preparedness awards.

4. Attack zombies/boomers – If you want to maximize your rewards, wait until 8:00 and 20:00 apocalypse time to also get Full Preparedness awards.

Tuesday
Shelter Upgrade

1. Construction speed ups – Use construction speedups as much as possible. If you want to maximize your rewards, wait until 8:00 and 20:00 apocalypse time to also get Full Preparedness awards.

2. Structure power increase – Complete buildings as much as possible.  You can start buildings earlier in the week but choose not to complete with the check mark until Tuesday to get extra points. Once the building is complete, you can build others, regardless of the check mark still appearing. If you want to maximize your rewards, wait until 8:00 and 20:00 apocalypse time to also get Full Preparedness awards.

3. Perform orange bounties – Use your ‘Dispatch Orders’ to refresh so you can send as many orange bounties as possible.

4. Recruit refugees – If you refresh after each recruit, it will cost you 500 each time rather than the increasing amount. Try to save your refugee tickets throughout the week.

Wednesday
Age of Science

1. Research speed ups – Use research speedups as much as possible. If you want to maximize your rewards, wait until 8:00 and 20:00 apocalypse time to also get Full Preparedness awards.

2. Tech power increase – Complete research as much as possible. If you want to maximize your rewards, wait until 8:00 and 20:00 apocalypse time to also get Full Preparedness awards.

3. Badge consumption – Focus your research on the research trees that need badges as there are extra points for consuming these.

4. Send out orange trucks – Use your ‘Trade Contracts’ to refresh so you can send as many orange trucks as possible.

Thursday
Hero Initiative

1. Hero fragments - Use any hero fragments to ‘Star Up’ your heroes. Orange fragments are worth the most points.

2. Exclusive equipment fragments – Upgrade your exclusive weapons for Evelyn, Scarlett and Oliveira using the equipment fragments. You can exchange universal ones any time; do not exchange all if you do not need to; keep track of the count you need to exchange.

3. Prime recruits – Use your Prime Recruits to gain skill books and hero fragments. If you want to maximize your rewards, wait until 8:00 and 20:00 apocalypse time to also get Full Preparedness awards.

4. Power cores – Use power cores to promote your orange equipment. You will need a good supply of Zent to promote.

5. Enhancement alloys – Use your enhancement alloys to enhance any equipment. Orange equipment has better benefits for your heroes.

6. Orange skill books – Use your orange skill books to skill up your orange heroes.

Friday
Holistic Growth

1. Speed ups – Use any kind of speed ups. It is wise to look at the Full Preparedness event and try to match up the use of speed ups with the Full Preparedness window to maximize points.

2. Tech power increase – Complete research as much as possible. It is wise to look at the Full Preparedness event and try to match up the completion of research with the Full Preparedness window to maximize points.

3. Tech structure increase – Complete buildings as much as possible. It is wise to look at the Full Preparedness event and try to match up the completion of buildings with the Full Preparedness window to maximize points.

4. Train and promote troops – You can train and/or promote troops for points on this day. If you want to maximize your rewards, wait until 8:00 and 20:00 apocalypse time to also get Full Preparedness awards.

Saturday
Enemy Buster

1. Speed ups – Use any kind of speed ups. You might want to look at the Full Preparedness event and try to match up the use of speed ups with the Full Preparedness window to maximize points.

2. Send out orange trucks – Use your ‘Trade Contracts’ to refresh so you can send as many orange trucks as possible.

3. Defeat Alliance Duel opponent – The alliance may organize group invasions of enemy hives. You should teleport to the hive (never do this alone so you have support) and perform HQ and tank attacks.  Where there is a victory for us equates points.

4. Defeat other opponents – All other attack victories lead to points but they are lower than the Alliance Duel opponent.

5. Killed units – If your troops are killed during attacks, you will gain points for this.

Key Advice for Enemy Buster:

SHEILD:   The primary rule is, if you don’t want to get farmed and/or you’re going to be offline, shield up. Other servers can invade ours from reset and we can not protect you if you’re unprepared.

ESCAPE: If you can see you’re about to be overrun, return to our server immediately. You may not be able to teleport back to our server if you are under attack. Equally, the alliance cannot help you with fires if you’re on another server.

USING TELEPORTS: Do not waste teleports. You can teleport to other servers and back for free. There will be a guide on how to do this.

FUEL: Make sure you have enough fuel saved up to initiate attacks.  Just like when going on a long journey: ALWAYS CHECK BEFORE YOU LEAVE!!!
